Twenty years of medicine, two countries, one clinic
Florida Healthcare Solutions exists because its founder wanted to practise medicine the way he was trained to — with time, continuity and a real relationship with the patient in front of him.
Orlando Quevedo Yanez, APRN, IMG
Orlando Quevedo trained as a physician in Cuba and specialised in family medicine, going on to practise for more than twelve years across community clinics there. That work was not glamorous. It was long-term care for whole families in their own neighbourhoods — prevention, screening, chronic disease, and the kind of continuity where you know a patient's history because you have lived alongside it.
After emigrating to the United States, he qualified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and spent three years working in U.S. hospitals with multiple hospital privileges, learning a different healthcare system from the inside. He opened Florida Healthcare Solutions in Cutler Bay to bring the two together: American clinical standards, practised at the pace and depth of community family medicine.
He also serves as a sub-investigator with FHS Research LLC, contributing to Phase II–IV clinical trials — work that keeps a practising clinician close to current evidence rather than the version learned a decade ago.

What you can expect here
A small practice can offer some things a large group cannot, and it is worth being explicit about them.
You see the same person
Every visit is with Orlando Quevedo. Nobody rotates in, reads your chart for the first time in the hallway, and asks you to explain your history again. That continuity is the entire reason primary care improves outcomes.
Appointments are long enough
New patient visits are scheduled for forty-five to sixty minutes and follow-ups for twenty to thirty. You can raise more than one problem in a single visit without being told to book again.
The whole practice speaks Spanish
Not a translation line. Not a staff member pulled in to interpret. Consultations, consent, results and after-visit instructions all happen in Spanish when you prefer — vea esta página en español.
We tell you when the answer is no
If PRP will not restore hair to an area that has been bald for a decade, we say so. If your symptoms point toward sleep apnoea rather than low testosterone, we investigate that instead. If a vein needs a vascular surgeon, we refer rather than treat the surface. Declining to sell you something is part of the job.
Medical and aesthetic care share one record
The provider injecting your face knows what medications you take, what your last labs showed, and what you were treated for six months ago. That is not a marketing point; it is a safety one.
